What You Can Expect

Responsible for all activities required to fabricate, reproduce, or modify tooling, fixtures, gauges, existing parts or products as assigned by the supervisor.

How You'll Create Impact

• Work from sketches, prints, models, or verbal instruction by utilizing sophisticated metal and plastic working equipment.

What Makes You Stand Out

• Attention to detail
• Working knowledge of stainless steel, titanium, Zimaloy, UHMPWE plastic, ceramics, cold and hot rolled steel, brass, tool steels, aluminum, rubber, and castings.
• A good working knowledge of CNC equipment as well as conventional metal cutting, grinding, and plastic working equipment.
• Capable of laying out work in the most cost-effective manner from the information available.
• Capable of working in a team based environment.

Your Background

• Completion of a Tool & Die degree (Associates) with 3 yrs of relevant tool making experience.
• 6 yrs of hands on Toolmaking Experience
• A four year approved Tool & Die Apprenticeship Program is approved
