- Assists in design of packaging and manufacturing processes and/or serve as a member on project teams.
- Assists/Conducts testing to support project activities.
- Assists/generates prototypes to evaluate design concepts.
- Assists/Coordinates packaging evaluations with internal/external customers.
- Assists in protocols for testing/analyzing of packaging.
- Assists with design control processes related documentation to support projects with guidance.
- Assists in the creation and preparation of documentation for regulatory submissions with guidance.
- Acts as project manager for small scale projects with lower technical complexity with guidance for new packaging development, transfers and/or design changes.
What Makes You Stand Out
Technical Area Of Competence
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software, including Excel required.
- Familiarity with drafting standards and geometric differences and tolerances preferred.
- Awareness of FDA and EU MDR medical packaging regulatory requirements, standards and associated test methods desired.

Required Skills
- Foundational experience in packaging engineering for regulated products (medical device or pharma preferred)
- Understanding of packaging design, development and basic validation concepts, ability to support packaging design updates, testing, and documentation
- Familiarity with packaging standards and regulatory expectations
- Internship experience with medical packaging design and development desired
- B.S. required, preferably in Packaging Engineering or Engineering discipline
