TRANZACT Exam Proctor
We are currently seeking a highly motivated test center Proctor who will ensure smooth test center operations by verifying candidate identification, explaining procedures, monitoring exams, and maintaining a secure testing environment, while also troubleshooting technical issues and maintaining the test center’s cleanliness.
What You Need for this Job
•High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Great communication and customer service skills.
- Dependability and punctuality are essential.
- Must be flexible in work hours and days.
- Beginner to intermediate experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Ability to troubleshoot basic tech issues (restarting a computer, connecting to the internet).
- Demonstrated skills in exam administration, including ability to provide a secure, fair and reliable testing environment.
- Ability to work in a quiet testing environment, able to hear soft voices, and see details from a distance.
- You must be able to sit for long periods of time and also escort candidates to and from testing room.
- Experience proctoring or invigilating exams is highly preferred; with Pearson Vue a plus.
Key Responsibilities include:
Candidate Management:
- Verify candidate identification and registration.
- Explain test procedures to candidates.
- Distribute and collect examination materials.
- Monitor candidates during exams to ensure integrity and prevent cheating.
Test Center Operations:
- Maintain a secure and conducive testing environment.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with internal departments.
- Report any rule violations or unusual occurrences during examinations.
- Complete light housekeeping duties, such as sanitizing keyboards and vacuuming floors.
Adherence to Procedures:
- Comply with all testing procedures and company policies.
- Maintain all testing certifications for Pearson Vue and other testing organizations.
