Required from September 2025, with the preferred option of a handover with the current post holder during the last week of August.

 

Due to the promotion of our current Office Manager, an exciting opportunity has arisen at our school. We would therefore like to invite applications from excellent, enthusiastic and engaging individuals who thrive supporting others.

You will be experienced of working in a busy school office and be familiar with the various tasks and procedures that need to take place. You will have experience of Sims, FMS, ParentPay, and the Wirral Provider Portals, along with various other relevant systems related to a large Primary School. We run our own Before and After School Club, our Kitchen is provided in-house, we have a large range of extra-curricular activities, and we are currently piloting the DfE national breakfast club rollout.

 

Under the direction of the Business Manager, we are looking for individuals to:

 

Manage the workload of our busy school office, including that of the Administration Assistants (1 full time, and 1 part time mornings only)

 

Contribute to and lead on the implementation of all aspects of administration management

 

Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbally

 

Be reliable, enthusiastic, thorough, organised, pro-active and calm

 

Work with the Headteacher and Business Manager to ensure our school is always the best it can be

Scheduled hours of work are 36 per week, the ability to be flexible is useful.

 

Working hours are 8:15am to 4pm with an unpaid half hour lunch break.

 

Some attendance at after school meetings is required but notice would be given. The contract includes some holiday working for office cover and preparations for the following term.
