Responsibilities


Wellstar has an immediate opening for a Manager of Patient Experience at Atlanta Medical Center South. The position is a full time day shift opportunity.

 

Functions under the direction of the Director of Patient Experience. Responsible for strategic development and initiation of all patient experience efforts. Leads service excellence councils and committees, plans, develops, implements and evaluates all service excellence efforts for the campus. Ensures collaboration and coordination of the following efforts for the campus: Inpatient Satisfaction, Outpatient Satis faction, Emergency Department Satisfaction and Ambulatory Surgery Satisfaction. Works closely with the leadership team and medical staff to ensure a thorough understanding and commitment to continuous improvement in the patient experience. Analyzes patient satisfaction data, trends concerns, ensures concerns are responded to appropriately. Maintains all budgetary and human resource activities for the team whom this person leads. Ensures compliance to regulatory requirements for responses to patients’ grievances.


Qualifications


Required Minimum Experience: Minimum 3-5 years’ service excellence or related healthcare leadershipexperience. Skilled communicator and able to influence positive change. Experience and know-how preferred in leading effective service excellence programs in a healthcare setting.

 

Required Minimum Skills: Strong organizational skills and experience in assessing processes and implementing organizational improvements. Strong customer service, negotiating and crisis management skills, as well as communication and publication presentation skills. Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

 

Required Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree preferred or 3+ years of leadership
experience. For Direct Patient Care positions, Indicate American Heart Association or American Academy of

 

Pediatrics certification required:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS ( Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
NRP Neonatal Resuscitation Program
PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support
