The Lead Echo Tech is responsible for performing cardiac ultrasound testing to include 2D echo/Doppler, Dobutamine stress echo, exercise stress echo. Performing duties to include rotational training of personnel and interns as needed, ensuring technical competency of all staff and student interns, and ensuring the lab and personnel meets JCAHO and ICAEL standards. Aiding diagnostic manager with ICAEL renewal process. Able to provide complex technical care with the use of ultrasound echocardiography technology for adult and geriatric patients. 


Required Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program preferred.


Required Minimum Experience: 2 years experience


Required Minimum Certification: Registered member of the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers as an RDCS, or Cardiovascular Credentialing International.


Required Minimum Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide constructive feedback and training.
