About the Job

Senior Systems Analyst - Digital Automation will manage the evaluation, requirements and process definition aspects of RPA Pipeline and solution development. They will partner with business resources to translate requirements into process designs and support technical developers in transforming designs into working automations. The candidate will apply knowledge of applications, methodologies, processes and tools to support automation rollouts.



  • Manage detailed intake and process qualification/redesign to identify automation opportunities
  • Work with the various business and technology teams to analyze and assess automation feasibility
  • Support one or multiple process design streams in line with overall program timing and milestones
  • Estimate, assess, track ROI and other benefits for potential and pursued opportunities


  • Work with business operations SMEs & stake holders to capture requirements and document process flows for implementation to the granular level (key stroke level) of detail that is required for a Robotic process automation program
  • Create an initial to-be state RPA solutions for the identified processes. 
  • Work with the RPA Technical to create a final to-be state Robotics solution
  • Create configuration, verification & user acceptance test plans, identifying all the process scenarios & their expected outcomes
  • Act as a central point of knowledge and control for business processes, communicating with the developers, subject matter experts and the business process owners to answer any queries that arise during the development and testing of an automated solution
  • Support overall deployment plan including the design and testing plans and schedules
  • Manage responsibility for creation & maintenance of solution documentation

Production Support

  • Escalation point for support team to resolve issues with existing bots


  • 3+ years of experience with Robotic Process Automation process mapping and solution design
  • Excellent requirements gathering skills, ability to capture business processes using both existing process documentation and process walkthroughs with the staff performing the process
  • Ability to analyze and question existing processes to ensure a full and correct understanding is gained including business & system exceptions
  • Understanding of workflow based logic and the ability to both understand a business process from a workflow diagram and to conceptualize it as an automated solution
  • Understanding of solution design documentation and accordingly create low level design documents
  • Prior experience with Blue Prism or equivalent technology
  • Deliver projects within project constraints and quality on global delivery models with timely reviews and feedback
  • Project planning and monitoring to manage RPA solution delivery with resource optimization
  • Self-starter capable to deliver multiple competing priorities and work with minimal direction in a Global delivery environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to present in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, and prioritize tasks
  • MS Office skills, including MS Project & Visio, Excel and PowerPoint Experience
  • Familiar with Agile methodology


  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology or Business fields
  • Blue Prism Solution Designer Certification preferred
  • Understanding of Pharma industry context, underlying business processes and digital automation systems (including but not limited to RPA; which is the initial focus)
  • Experience with GxP Validation concepts
  • Exposure to working in Agile environment
