POSITION SUMMARY:
This position works under the direct supervision of the Senior Embryologists, Laboratory Manager and Laboratory Director. This position is responsible for performing basic clinical laboratory techniques in the IVF laboratory involving in vitro fertilization, gamete handling, insemination, and laboratory quality control. Detail oriented data entry and functionality with laboratory software is required. This position includes holiday and weekend rotations. Team oriented workflow.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in a laboratory setting, preferably in embryology or reproductive biology.
EXPERIENCE:
* Strong understanding of reproductive physiology and embryology principles * Familiarity with laboratory techniques used in ART, including semen analysis, oocyte handling, embryo culture and cryopreservation.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
* Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity * Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written * Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and providing compassionate care. * Ability to work flexible hours, including weekend and holidays, as needed in a clinical setting
