About the Job



The Financial Reporting Manager will be an integral team member of the Financial Reporting team and report to the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting. This individual will be a key part of the month-end process (including booking and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and other various accounting tasks), internal reporting to executive management, external SEC reporting and other various external reporting obligations.


  • Record, review and post journal entries
  • Preparation and review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Perform & review monthly financial statement uploads into PeopleSoft, analysis and reconciliations for joint ventures
  • Assist in the preparation of external financial statements in compliance with GAAP and SEC rules and regulations
  • Prepare external audit materials and support relationships and requirements with internal and external auditors to provide complete documentation and explanation for transaction types.
  • Prepare internal financial reports for executive management, monthly variance and financial analysis and internal reports for the Financial Reporting department
  • Prepare financial statements and lead retail inventory reporting/reconciliation for U.S. National Park Service concessionaires, including fee payments and reconciliations
  • Prepare & review forecasts and waterfalls
  • Prepare debt covenant compliance calculations and other materials
  • Prepare detailed tie-outs of financial statements and internal and external presentations
  • Assist in the preparation of ad-hoc requests for analyses and information
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
  • Three years of experience which includes public accounting and/or financial reporting experience
  • CPA preferred
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word) and database management
  • Technical accounting for U.S. GAAP and SEC knowledge preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills, as well as exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Experience with Workiva and/or PeopleSoft Financials software a plus
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
