About the Job


The Utilities/Facilities Engineering Co-op will support 1 to 5 projects supporting the Brammer Bio part of Thermo Fisher Scientific engineering group. The engineer will work with the facilities and Utilities engineering and manufacturing groups to gather information in support of executing the assigned projects. The engineer will also be asked to assist engineering personnel in performing standard daily tasks.

1) 75% Assists with the execution of engineering projects, such as:

Commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting of the new equipment; drawing generation/verification, system walkdowns, etc. Equipment LOTO Plans Generation of equipment data sheets Naming and Tagging Valves drawings and Equipment Execution of studies and generation/management of data and technical reports associated with facilities Utilities equipment Administration equipment/engineering turnover packages Administration of technical drawings associated with single-use process equipment, and automation and facilities systems. Support of Spare parts for process and facilities systems
