Position Summary

Univision's Ad Sales Finance and Analytics team is responsible for forecasting, analyzing and optimizing Univision Communications Inc. ad sales performance across all business functions. We provide sales and finance leadership with strategic analytical support ranging from deal negotiation to rights acquisition to day-to-day operational recommendations. This team works collaboratively with a range of cross-functional partners to enable decision-making for the senior leadership teams.

Working with senior executives, and VP's in the sales organization on a daily/weekly basis, you will quickly become a key resource in a highly visible and strategic role. Job Responsibilities

The Analyst of Sales Finance will work in high growth and strategically relevant areas of the business, owning the financials and key business relationships in their respective areas. This role will work directly with the Manager, Vice President and Senior Vice President of Finance and Analytics to create and define processes, reporting and KPIs and be the point of contact on financial questions.

  • Primary point of contact for all strategic reporting functions including:
  • Weekly Pacing Reports
  • Bi-weekly Revenue trackers
  • Weekly Stewardship Reports
  • Broadcast / Calendar Upfront reporting & tracking
  • Quarterly Option Tracking
  • Work with sales teams to ensure accurate reporting of booked and future revenues
  • Create, maintain and update KPI and reporting packages maintained to improve financial performance
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis to support sales, finance, and operations
  • Additional finance responsibilities as required

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 1 year in Media or Finance with relevant professional work experience
  • Strong financial and/or accounting skills required
  • Excellent excel skills, model building and a strong analytical background
  • Strong PowerPoint skills (advanced formulas; pivot tables; vlookups)
  • Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and data auditing skills
