The University of Nevada is recruiting for a Director, Facilities. The Director of Facilities is an administrative and supervisory position in the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics (ICA). The position assists with the planning, scheduling, payroll and overall management of maintenance, custodial, technical, live event production and conversion services and staffing for all athletic events, concerts, and other conferences and conventions. The position plays a key role in ensuring effective maintenance practices are utilized so that assets throughout the ICA campus are properly managed. The position assists with supervision of the work to assigned staff; ensures timely planning and scheduling; and manages inventory, work orders to procure equipment and other supplies. This position reports to the Assistant Athletics Director, Facilities.
Master's Degree with one year of related work experience; Or Bachelor's Degree with two years of related work experience; OR Associates Degree with three years of related work experience; OR High School Graduation with four years of related work experience.
Experience with comparable facilities, supervision of staff.
Variable work schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
