JOB SUMMARY

The Director, Product Delivery & Strategic Technology Integration leads the strategy and execution of advanced technology products across themed entertainment projects. This role bridges creative vision with commercial reality by aligning cross-functional delivery, product readiness, and technical integration to deliver groundbreaking guest experiences. The Director defines and drives end-to-end strategies for product and platform execution, resource optimization, and risk-managed commercialization to enable scalable and innovative guest-facing technologies.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive the end-to-end strategy for commercialization of advanced technologies, including execution frameworks, resource planning, and integration across disciplines.
  • Oversee development of technical specifications that align with project goals, Universal standards, operational feasibility, and code compliance.
  • Translate creative intent into actionable execution plans, leading coordination with Research & Development, design engineering, creative studio, engineering, operations, and vendor partners.
  • Assess technical and operational risks, developing mitigation strategies to support long-term reliability and scalability of project solutions.
  • Direct the integration strategy for advanced systems, platforms, products and technologies, ensuring cohesive technical architecture and interoperability across platforms to certify long term viability and scalability.
  • Lead multidiscipline internal teams and external vendors to deliver innovative, cost-effective, and high-performance solutions on time and within scope.
  • Support Universal’s innovation and IP strategy by fostering development of proprietary technologies and patentable assets.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Strategy, or related field required.
  • Master’s degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years of experience in technical project delivery, product development, or integrated systems strategy.
  • Proven success in themed entertainment or large-scale capital project environments.
  • Proven expertise in resource planning, technical documentation, and risk-managed execution.
  • Strong background in vendor oversight, field execution, and cross-functional leadership.
