What success looks like in this role:

Operate as the finance business partner to client teams, closely aligned to the Client Executive and Client Delivery Executive. This includes pro-active management of the financial operations, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and SOX compliance of a portfolio of contracts/projects, potentially across multiple business units and regions. Provide in-depth financial analysis and recommendations to the relevant account teams based on the contract, services, and challenges within the accounts. Assist with implementation of Oracle Fusion Global ERP system. Collaborate with major internal stakeholders as needed, such as business unit finance leadership, account teams, and regional/corporate controllership.

Key Responsibilities/Outcomes:

  • Financial management of a portfolio of accounts, potentially including:
    • Multiple business units.
    • Multi-element deals e.g., hardware/software, earned revenue/percentage completion accounting.
    • Multiple change orders.
    • Multiple ERP modules (OM, Subscription, Contracts/Projects, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable)
    • Contract loss reserves, asset impairment and % spent.
    • Contract clauses that constrain revenue recognition e.g., capped volumes, delivery obligations, future discount provisions.
    • Deferred Revenue & Prepayments.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • Undergraduate degree with major in Accounting / Business Studies / Commerce / Finance.
  • MBA (preferred).
  • Oracle Fusion experience (preferred).
  • Experience working in a global matrix organization (preferred).
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Must be meticulous, analytical, with problem-solving ability and capable of managing multiple projects and tasks.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a collaborative, fast paced environment.
  • Proficiency in collaborating with a team to identify business process improvements. delivering significant value to an organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
