The Department of Medicine’s Division of Infectious Diseases is engaged in the management of an international, multicenter clinical trials network (funded by the NIH) to advance therapeutics in HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and viral hepatitis. As the Financial Analyst, you will assist with grant management.
- Assure that all incoming invoices and outgoing payments are tracked and reconcilable to ACTG records
- Review expenditures on a monthly basis for vendor services and subaward invoices to ensure guidelines and policies are met
- Maintain invoice flow sheet and work with LOC finance staff to coordinate invoice delivery to A/P
- Reconcile expenses
- Establish a system to manage a high-volume research invoicing system
- At least one year of grant management experience
- Experience with clinical trials budgeting and NIH Policies
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Flexibility to occasionally work overtime as needed
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent time and organizational skills with attention to detail
Not required, but a plus if you have the following:
- Prior experience working with federally funded research grants
- Working knowledge of UC and funding agency policies on grant submission and grant administration
