Position Summary:
The Sr. Manager, Product Management-Strategy & Innovation is part of the Clinical
Trials Division (CTD) within our Pharma Services Group. CTD partners with
pharmaceutical and biotech customers around the world to ensure the right
patients get the right therapies in the right doses at the right time – a concept that
we internally embrace as “There is a Patient Waiting.” Our unique blend of
services includes project management, packaging, distribution, transportation
management and specialty logistics, ancillary supply management, clinical supply
optimization, bio-repository storage and much more.
Competencies & experience:
- An ability to establish and lead strategic initiatives to support the overall business strategy, which includes the development and launch of new service line offering
- Business planning including, profitability tracking, go to market pricing
- Be responsible for the successful implementation of significant business initiatives, especially those reaching across divisional and organizational boundaries, to deliver on milestones and other KPI’s
- Ensure executable supply chains including regulatory compliance and seamless hand off for customers from solution through execution phase in partnership with Supply Chain Management Operations Team
- Actively seek and contribute market intelligence, competitive landscape and voice of the customer data to help inform on core and new service market opportunities.
- Be a Subject Matter Expert in CAM knowledge in giving advisory and technical support on CAM sourcing and supply chain management
- Significant market knowledge in clinical supply chain particularly as it relates to ancillaries and associated medical devices
- Creates and delivers sales training in collaboration with other functions to ensure that the strategic initiatives are understood and delivered across the organisation
- Effective team player who needs to be comfortable working in a highly matrix organization
- Travel international/national up to 20%
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS in business or the sciences
- 5+ years of experience within the pharmaceutical or related industry with experience in clinical supply chain, CRO, ancillaries, procurement, and other parties involved in delivery of clinical supplies to patient.
Preferred Qualifications (nice to have)
- Master’s in business (MBA)
- Previous experience developing and/or bringing a medical products to market
- Understanding of regulated markets in Europe and North America highly preferred
