We are a research, development and production site in Bremen currently, with about 500 employees, whose “high -end” measurement and analysis instruments (mass spectrometers) are used in research and science worldwide. Our innovative products in the fields of Life Sciences MS and Inorganic MS, as well as Trace Elemental Analysis, are among the leading products globally in their respective markets.

We are looking for a Software Requirement Engineer (m/f/d) Applied Analytical Technologies

Your responsibilities:
  • Manage stakeholder requirements. Interfacing with internal and external customers, you'll be responsible for collecting and configuring requirements within our configuration management tool as well as managing changes to those requirements.
  • Requirements analysis: Using the requirements manager tool, you will be responsible for structuring the requirements, leading the requirement analysis activities with the team, and for developing and maintaining system level requirements based on them.
  • Close collaboration with internal and external customers
  • Cross functional collaboration with the software team to design the implementation
  • Validation of software implementation and presentation to the PM team and other stakeholders
  • Creation of a documentation in English

Essential Experience and Skills
  • BS/MS in chemistry, physics, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ Jahre experience in software development
  • Self-motivated and appreciates to work in a fast-changing environment
  • Good knowledge in Team Foundation Server / Azure DevOps
  • Experience in using analytical instruments, preferable mass spectrometry
  • Good skills in abstracting specific use cases and transfer them into common requirements

It’s a plus if you have experience in
  • Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud
  • Team Foundation Server
  • Chemistry, biology, mass spectrometry and chromatography
