DUTIES:
Coordinate between business process analysts and business users on new implementation and enhancements and draft functional and technical requirements alongside performing data mapping, system configurations and technical development.
Provide daily technical support for legacy data collections in Oracle VCP (ASCP/Demantra) with multiple ERP systems such as Oracle E-Business Suite/JD Edwards/SAP/Macola and other legacy ERP applications.
Troubleshoot Oracle ASCP Plan runs – Distribution Requirement Planning & Manufacturing Planning.
Troubleshoot Oracle Demantra forecast tool- Weekly and Monthly forecast run.
Analyze ASCP Unconstrained/Constrained Plan outputs and work with business users and IT Business Analysts for review in case of any potential issues/gaps.
Analyze Demantra Analytical Engine output and work with demand planning users and IT Business Analysts to improve the forecast accuracy.
Configure Demantra Business Modeler components - Series, Worksheets, Integration Interface, Engine Profiles, and Workflows
Support Demand and Supply Plan Outbounds to Oracle APCC for reporting.
Monitor and maintain the Oracle VCP suite system performance from application to database standpoint.
Coordinate with Oracle Product Support for application/database RUP, technical service requests and version upgrades.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering or related field of study plus 8 years of advanced supply chain planning tools or related experience.
Must have experience or knowledge of:
Supply and demand planning process and systems;
Troubleshooting system logs and fine tuning performance;
Support multiple ERP systems – Oracle JD Edwards, E-Business Suite R12 and other big ERP systems;
Advanced planning tools such as Oracle Value Chain Planning – Advanced Supply Chain Planning, Demantra, Advanced Planning Command Center; and
Writing complex custom programs in Oracle PL SQL.
TRAVEL:
Will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 50% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S. Can work remotely or telecommute.
