Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in vendor sourcing, pre-qualification, setup and tracking.
  • Assessment of the supply market, maintains reliable sources of supply and backup sources.
  • Source, order, coordinate and follow-up with all matters related to the acquiring of items required from the Original Item Manufacturers or distribution channels
  • Assessment of organization current spend and work with account manager to drive conversion of products
  • Ensure timely response to customer’s request for supplies & services.
  • Monitor, follow up and review purchase requisitions with customer for approval.
  • Support and work closely with customer/sales personnel/other departments to ensure timely and accurate closure of procurement cycle.
  • Negotiates orders, and reviews commercial terms, products, service levels, prices, geographic coverage, etc.
  • Advice appropriate stocking plan to the Supply Chain team on initial stocking and subsequent stock levels to maintain service level to customer.
  • Implementation of new supply structure and KPIs.
  • Weekly updates to management on all sourcing activities and delivery schedules.
  • Track results and generate appropriate weekly and monthly and quarterly reports to the reporting manager/customers and continuously monitor progress of KPIs.
  • Work directly with Account Manager on meeting company’s revenue and goal

** May be required to provide project support, and perform other sourcing operations related duties as required and/or assigned.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Science Discipline or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 year in sourcing/procurement/customer service related experience.
  • Self-motivate, strong drive and passion to succeed in very challenging and competitive environment.
  • Exceptional analytical, negotiation, facilitation and customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication, organization, problem solving, and planning skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, including use of modelling and database functionality in Excel.
  • Self-start, who can meet deadlines while multi-tasking.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload independently.
