The Executive Territory Manager is responsible for selling service contracts for the Laboratory Products business within the Analytical Instruments Group. In this critical sales position, you will focus on exceeding the sales quotas for our service portfolio by selling and negotiating contracts with end user customers, key decision makers and procurement. You will collaborate with cross divisional & channel distribution partners, product & application specialists, Laboratory Products team and Field Service teams to help drive sales.

How do you make an impact?
The Executive Territory Manager (ETM) is the highest sales position for each selling pod. The ETM is expected to demonstrate leadership, coach and mentor the team members on their pod to drive and influence peak sales performance, develop relationships and cultivate 20+ focus accounts to drive growth, utilize phone, email, internet, videos and other technology to connect with customers, as well as collaborate with sales leadership, field service, instrument sales, and other internal teams.
What you will do?
- Execute professional sales communications via telephone, email, video conference, etc. to increase profitable sales growth in the assigned focus accounts.
- Establish and develop customer relationships to cultivate customer loyalty and allegiance.
- Develop a business plan to achieve sales goals and objectives.
- Effectively track pipeline in Salesforce.com.
- Maintain knowledge of products, services, competitive activity, and other general information related to the support plan offerings to best meet a customer's needs.
- Gain knowledge and understanding of the sales team's current work instructions
- Participate in training and development programs as a means of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal and external team members to develop account specific strategies.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in Science or Business
- 5+ years of sales experience is required
- Position may require Covid-19 vaccination and/or routine testing, per client discretion. As a requirement to be onsite at Thermo Fisher Scientific this position requires vaccination status disclosure upon employment.
- up to 40% travel yearly as need to designated territories or sites
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel and Powerpoint), SalesForce, SAP is required

- Must deliver excellent customer service, possess the organizational skills to multi-task and meet deadlines as needed, and willing to travel for training, sales meetings, customer meetings
