Day-day delivery of dedicated service, over multiple work streams, within a complex fast-paced Customer Service environment. You will act as the first point of contact for all external/internal customer service queries and are key to ensuring customers view Thermo Fisher Scientific as the company to partner with. Supporting the departmental supervisors and Customer Service Manager daily in their quest to achieve KPI’s.

What will you do!
- Efficient and correct entry of orders.
- Handles and responds to predominantly all types of customer service issues, orders, and general inquiries through CHAT functionality.
- Is a customer advocate. Owns customer issues and resolves complex or difficult customer queries and works with a wide range of stakeholders to solve them, providing a high and efficient level of customer service. Takes responsibility for customer follow-up and communication.
- Strives to exceed set SLA's nd Individual/Department/Company KPI’s.
- Handles all queries within the established process.
- Strives to continuously improve the processes they work with as well as how they deliver service to the customers, using defined company methodology.
- Participate in the departmental training plan and commit to a focus on continuous personal improvement.
- Effectively plans and prioritises workload on a daily basis to avoid backlogs.
- Proven track record of being able to multitask and work in a flexible and extremely fast-paced office environment.
- Familiarity and success within a target-driven workplace.
- Previous experience in customer service, CHAT, and or data entry.
- Attention to detail.
- Be persistent, self-directed, and goal-oriented.
- Able to influence and work effectively across the organisation.
- Proficiency in written English.
- Appreciation and understanding of how to deliver ‘good’ customer service
