The Monarch at Brooklyn Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a reliable and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our dietary team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who is passionate about providing high-quality meals and ensuring an excellent dining experience for our residents.
Food Service Supervisor Responsibilities:

Supervise daily operations of the dietary department during assigned shifts

Oversee meal preparation, service, and sanitation standards

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations

Support, train, and guide dietary staff

Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation

Collaborate with clinical staff to accommodate residents’ dietary needs and restrictions

Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment
Food Service Supervisor Qualifications:

Prior experience in food service supervision, preferably in a healthcare or skilled nursing setting

Knowledge of dietary regulations and food safety standards (ServSafe certification preferred)

Strong leadership and organizational skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
