Evening Security Officer – Senior Independent Living Community – Part-Time
Position Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Evening shift, 7:00 pm – 12:00 am; flexible days TBD with manager
Status: Part-Time (minimum of 3 shifts per week)
Overview:
Join The Gatesworth, an award-winning independent senior living community in St. Louis, as a Part-Time Evening Security Officer. You will help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for residents, staff, and guests by monitoring the property, conducting rounds, responding to alarms, and enforcing community safety policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular patrols of the community to ensure resident safety and property security.
Monitor access control systems, security cameras, and alarm panels.
Greet residents and screen visitors at reception and security desks.
Respond promptly to emergency situations, alarms, or calls for assistance.
Manage deliveries, packages, and restricted areas according to procedure.
Maintain a professional and approachable presence while providing resident-focused service.
Qualifications:
Valid St. Louis County Security License (or ability to obtain before start).
Minimum 2 years of security experience and 2 years of customer service experience.
Skilled in surveillance, access control systems, and emergency response procedures.
Strong communication skills, reliable transportation, and professional demeanor.
Weekend and holiday availability required.
