The Cypress at Midtown is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Charge Nurse in our skilled nursing and long-term care community. We are looking for a nurse who is compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities of Charge Nurse (RN or LPN):
- Supervise and support nursing assistants and medication aides
- Assess, plan, coordinate, and deliver nursing care for skilled nursing and long-term care residents
- Monitor residents’ conditions and communicate updates to the interdisciplinary team and physicians
- Provide resident and family education as needed
- Ensure compliance with all state regulations and facility policies
- Maintain accurate documentation and care records
Qualifications for Charge Nurse (RN or LPN):
- Current RN or LPN license in Nebraska (or compact license recognized by Nebraska)
- CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain within the first month of employment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
