Job Description:
The CCL Technical Manager leads the technical development and the industrialization of the vehicle.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead the Technical Design Team through the Sourcing Process
- Create management and communication processes to ensure Sourcing and Tool Kick Off achieve milestones.
- Manage all Technical content and Optimization of complexity
- Responsible to deliver commonality commitments at the program level
- Lead the Technical Integration of features with the cross functional teams; including PFDI, vehicle Sciences (NVH and Durability)- confirming
functional objectives are met within the contracted allowance - Facilitate technical escalation of part design with other projects, modules, vehicle platforms and advanced engineering
- Lead the technical decision process including facilitation of meeting forums and cadence (decision meeting and CN/IAA meeting)
- Manage technical design verification and validation including DV/PV planning, execution, tacking, and executive reporting.
- Co-lead Weight and Cost Optimization with the Planning and Cost Managers.
- Coordinate project activities with the Manufacturing Assembly Team and production plant.
- Responsible for vehicle build issue management and resolution
