Automotive Test Technician - Impact Lab

Management of the instrumentation required to collect data on vehicles, sub systems and components​. Ensuring the highest quality data is recorded and processed to efficiently analyze data needed for all projects​. Reviewing test plans with engineers; understand what equipment is needed to acquire the data under the specified load cases​ Know what data acquisition system to use, which transducers, and where to place them on the vehicle or sub-system​. Use hands-on experience with data acquisition and data processing software​. Will be responsible for instrumentation and calibration of transducers and data acquisition system for the given application. â€‹ The Automotive Test Technician should be self-sufficient to prepare the test setup, conduct testing, and acquire the data with or without the engineer​. The Automotive Test Technician will save the data, process it, and analyze it, and create reports.
