In this role, you will:
- Play a vital role in supporting the testing and evaluation of vehicles
- Prepare vehicles according to established procedures
- Conduct diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of issues using specialized tools and equipment
The Temporary Automotive Test Technician - Impact Lab Mechanic will:
- Use CAN diagnostic tools (CDA) to check-in vehicles and identify issues and flash software prior to testing
- Perform repairs and modifications to vehicles as needed to address testing needs
- Conduct tire mounting, balancing, and road force testing
- Assist engineers with data acquisition and analysis during testing
- Document test procedures, findings, and repairs in a clear and concise manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols
- Collaborate effectively with engineers, technicians, and other team members
