SUMMARY:
The responsibility of the Lost & Found Clerk is to be organized and methodical to accurately track guests and employees lost items. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company’s brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. – Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity). 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Skill in developing, leading and maintaining guest relations.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Ability to understand questions and instructions from management.

  • Ability to react rationally to high stress situations while maintaining a calm demeanor.
  • Full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, policies and procedures as well as a variety of local and federal laws.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
 
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, administrative, multi-tasking, organization and prioritization skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written),
  • Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results
  • Ability to use Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Internet Explorer.
  • Working knowledge of state and local laws and how to apply them. 
  • Must not have any Felony Convictions

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum age requirement is 21
  •  (1) year of experience in lost & found, shipping, receiving, or logistics within a hotel/casino, preferred.
  • Two or more years of customer service experience, preferred
