Job Title: Regional Sales Manager Location: Remote Territory (Covers NE, IA, KS, MO, OK, AR, and LA regions) Schedule: Days StandardAero offers: - Competitive wages - Generous paid time off - Insurance includes medical, dental and vision benefits - Retirement savings plan - Safety focused culture - Advancement opportunities The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) oversees the relationship between StandardAero Business Aviation and its Central Region customers, both in sales and customer relations. The RSM will be expected to travel in region to generate prospects, formulate work scopes, and finalize the sale of Airframe and Engine maintenance, repairs, and/or modifications on StandardAero target aircraft. Covers NE, IA, KS, MO, OK, AR, and LA regions. Includes supporting Western Jet Aviation, a StandardAero Company (California). Responsibilities - Conducts regional sales calls through visits, correspondence, telephone, and email - Monitors/manages sales/market conditions within assigned sales territory - Maintains relationship with regional Business Aviation organizations - Develops/maintains a relationship with aviation OEMs, suppliers, brokers, and vendors to increase knowledge of aircraft maintenance and repairs - Will be required to work closely with the Avionics Engine and Modification Sales Managers to develop proposals and project schedules - Maintains interaction with the Quoting Department to accurately develop airframe proposals - Expands sales within assigned territory with particular focus on Airframe business - Manages territory and pipeline data in Salesforce.com - Manages expenses within the budget - Travels extensively to meet sales and quota goals, up to 75% - Performs other duties as required by the Sales Director Position Requirements - Must be authorized to work in the US. - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Minimum of five years aviation (MRO) sales. - Position resides and works out of the West/Central region. - Ability to travel on short notice, up to 75%. - Corporate Aviation experience required. - Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. - Assertive, possesses high energy, and is self-motivated. - Proficient in computer applications: MSWord, Excel. Ideal candidate will also be proficient in SFDC. Preferred Characteristics - Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Strong industry contacts in business aviation preferred. - Airframe technical background preferred, with emphasis on the following: Gulfstream Aircraft. - A&P Certificate or other industry certification preferred.
