Team Lead-Grants & Contract Management
About the Job
The Team Lead of Grants & Contracts provides leadership and supervision for the Grants & Sponsored Programs Office staff. In this role, you will represent the department on institutional committees, as needed. You will coordinate the development and updating of policies and procedures. The lead independently supports investigator proposal submission efforts in response to unsolicited application guidelines, Requests for Applications, Public Announcements, and Requests for Proposals from a variety of sponsors of varying complexity. This position is also responsible for independently negotiating standards and more complex terms and conditions associated with federal contracts and other non-industrial sponsored agreements consistent with institutional policy and practice, that are programmatically and fiscally responsive. You will also prepare or initiate document templates and other resource needs.
- Bachelor's degree in business, public or hospital administration, accounting or basic sciences
- Master's degree preferred
- Five (5) years of experience in legal/contractual, financial, scientific, or administrative management field required that includes three (3) years are directly related experience in grant and contract administration
- Preferred: CRA (Certified Research Administrator)
