About the Job

The Psychology Training Program Manager will coordinate internship, graduate and postdoctoral training programs utilizing project management tools and maintaining regular communication with Faculty/Mentors. The Manager will develop strategic plan strategies, procedures, platforms and data analysis to support decision making and business planning for training programs. The Program Manager will coordinate, implement, and provide oversight of marketing and recruitment efforts for prospective postdoctoral and internship candidates, and serve as the liaison between the Department of Psychology and academic institutions and stakeholders. In line with the strategic goals of the Department, the training program manager will work with faculty training coordinators to develop and launch a new post-baccalaureate program and facilitate submission of training grant applications to support the initiative and enhance the early pipeline to pediatric psycho-oncology.

  • Manages key elements of multiple training programs projects and grant applications including prioritizing tasks, developing, and maintaining timelines, and monitoring overall progress
  • Creates business foundation and operational plans for sustainable post-baccalaureate program
  • Develops system for monitoring career trajectories of former trainees, and maintaining records for use in annual reports, grants, and SAB reports
  • Collaborates with department leadership to promote effective use of research management systems
  • Develops relationships with and engages internal and external stakeholders and collaborators
  • Designs and implements program evaluation, improvement and communication plans
  • Manages processes and maintains American Psychological Association (APA) accreditation for providing CEU credits for Psychology rounds and other activities
  • Performs other related duties as directed to meet the goals and objectives of the department

  • Bachelor's degree in social science, healthcare-related, healthcare administration, or business administration is required
  • Master's degree is preferred

  • Five (5) years of experience and expertise in complex project management, preferably in a health-related setting
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Outlook Calendar tools, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
  • Experience managing multi-sector stakeholders in planning efforts
  • Supervisory and/or team coordinator experience preferred
