Sourcing Intelligence Analyst

About the Job

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with procurement sourcing teams and other stakeholders to plan competitive Sourcing events (RFX’s).
  • Lead and support RFX’s including needs assessment, information gathering, stakeholder discussions, drafting of RFX’s, business partner research, negotiations, analysis, and presentation of recommendation/results.
  • Leverage data and analytics to identify savings opportunities across Ecolab’s global direct material buy.
  • Work with sourcing leads to prioritize and validate top opportunities for savings projects and support/drive project execution.
  • Govern elements of procurement master data and processes to support digital and analytical platforms.
  • Train others in reporting & analytical systems, tools, and processes.


Basic Qualifications

  • B.Tech/BE required with emphasis in Engineering, or Chemistry preferred.
  • At least two years of work experience in an analytical or business intelligence role.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

 
Preferred Qualifications

  • Business intelligence or advanced analytics experience in procurement preferred
  • Experience building standard reports and dashboards
  • History of managing and delivering multiple projects, tasks, and initiatives simultaneously
  • Ability to create, implement and continuously improve processes in a changing environment
  • Proficient in MS Office suite with intermediate to advanced Excel, Access and SQL skills
  • Experience working with global cross-functional teams and demonstrated ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical expertise
  • Microsoft PowerBI experience a plus
  • Experience in the petrochemical industry a plus
