Department/Position Overview

We have an amazing, 16 bed unit at Sentara Princess Anne.  Our ratios are 2:1 or 3:1. Staff are friendly and welcoming but most of all the teamwork is exceptional, in fact we were awarded the Beacon Award-gold!  We are not a trauma hospital, but we do get a variety of patients. 

Education

• Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required

Certification/Licensure

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• ACLS
• NIH Stroke Scale

Experience

• Must have 2 or more years of recent acute care hospital RN ICU experience

Sentara Princess Anne Hospital, located in Virginia Beach, VA, is a Magnet Status, general medical and surgical facility with 160 beds. The hospital offers a full-service emergency room with a dedicated observation unit, Critical Care, Oncology and Stroke services.  It also encompasses a Family Maternity Center with an On-site Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
