Experience
MUST have AT LEAST 2 yrs of RECENT bedside RN experience in general ICU - required
IF floated to IMCU must be able to efficiently and safely handle pt ratio of 1:4-6
REQUIRED: Experience in use of vasopressors (levophed, phenylephrine, vasopressin, dopamine) as well as sedation meds like fentanyl, propofol, and precedex. Insulin drips are also common.
Experience with TNK, strokes, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, sepsis, CRRT, general surgeries, DKA, SI , ETOH. and, STEMIs.
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.

RN Degree - ADN, BSN or MSN
Certification/Licensure
Valid RN License to practice in Virginia
Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
