This position is in anticipation of a new clinic opening scheduled for July 2026. Prior to the clinic's opening, the selected candidate will support existing locations across Northern Virginia-including Century, Reid, Dumfries, and Stafford-by providing coverage as needed and assisting with operational and clinical needs. As patient volumes grow at the new site, the individual will gradually transition into a full-time role at that location.
Overview
Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- Master's Degree (Preferred)
- Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy
Certification/Licensure
- Physical Therapist License (Required)
Experience
- Performs modalities/therapeutic interventions in accordance with accepted standards of care and department policies and procedures.
- Provides effective instruction to the patient and family through standardized educational programs and/or individualized training. Initiate, develop, and maintain collaborative interactions with internal and external team members, patients, and family members to improve patient outcomes.
- Productive and efficient in daily operations. Selects and performs the appropriate assessment procedures.
- Establishes and updates formal plan of care to address individual patient needs.
