Bachelor's Level Degree - Pharmacy required
Master's Level Degree in Business Administration or Health Administration or Doctorate Degree in Pharmaceutical Services preferred.

3 years Supervisory experience and 1 year Management experience required.

Will consider Pharmacist not licensed in Virginia (due to relocation), but must have Virginia Pharmacist license within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Certifications:

The Specialty Pharmacy Operations Manager is responsible and accountable for the daily operations of the Specialty Pharmacy. Supervises, leads, and evaluates pharmacist team coordinators and pharmacy staff members to ensure the delivery of high quality services to meet or exceed customer expectations. Coordinates the development and implementation of new pharmacy services and serves as a mentor by role modeling professional practice with organizational goals, customer service skills, clinical effectiveness, and standards of care. Functions as a financial steward for the pharmacy ensuring prudent use of pharmacy assets and responsible for developing and managing departmental budgets. Works with Pharmacy Director to review and manage department contracts to ensure the Specialty Pharmacy is protected and well represented with third parties, pharmaceutical companies, and vendors. Responsible for coordinating quality measures within the pharmacy and serves as the Committee Chair for the Quality Management Committee.( approximately 15% of Job Functions)

Bachelor's Level Degree - PHARMACY
