Status/Shift: Part-Time (24 hours/week), Rotating shift (works both Day and Night shifts)

Overview
Provides administrative support to the unit or department assigned. Serves as first point of contact for patients, family members and visitors on unit assigned requiring the application of excellent customer service skills.
Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Experience
- 1 year of healthcare experience (Preferred)
- Previous Experience working in a Fast-paced Environment (Strongly Preferred)
- Excellent Customer Service Experience (Strongly Preferred)
- Medical Office Experience (Preferred)
- Computer Savvy with Microsoft Office Skills (Strongly Preferred)

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $19.53 - $28.86 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Sentara Leigh Hospital, located in Norfolk, VA, is a 274-bed acute care facility that opened in 1903 and relocated to its present site in 1977.
