Your Role With Us:
Systems Administrators with Salem Health Information Services perform ongoing preventative maintenance that ensures adherence to department standards for server infrastructure.
Core Functions:
- Support department projects as assigned.
- Complete documentation as required in accordance with department procedures.
- Second tier support for request fulfillment in server infrastructure.
- Troubleshoots and resolves second tier service effecting issues that impact both internal and external customers and escalate when appropriate.

Background/Expertise:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or Business Administration, Nursing, or other Health care preferred; OR Five (5) years of related work experience; OR Equivalent combination of education and experience where each year of education equates to two (2) years of experience-- Four (4) years of experience will be substituted for an associate's degree; Eight (8) years of experience will be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- Minimum four (4) years of related experience in IT field required.
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification required within six (6) months of date of hire or transfer into this position.
- Functional knowledge of Windows server infrastructure, as demonstrated in the interview process.
- Functional knowledge of at least two (2) of the following required (more preferred): active directory, Exchange, Citrix, OS patching, server migration, VMWare, SCCM.
- Functional knowledge of the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers and applications required.
