Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Advanced Practice Practitioner in our Denver Midtown clinic.
No Weekends, no nights!
Salary Range: $95,000-$115,000
****Position is bonus eligible based on productivity***

-Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for oncology patients. Initiates and documents appropriate interventions; evaluates and records patient/family response within practice protocol; prescribes drug therapies per protocol/physician consultation.
- Performs procedures as needed per licensure and per collaboration agreement; conducts patient assessments and provides physician with information prior to seeing the patient.
-Assesses patient/family needs and provides education.
-Promotes wellness and recommends community resources to meet patient and family needs.
-Promotes/provides staff education.
-Incorporates evidence-based research into clinical practice.
-Knowledgeable of reimbursement procedures and documentation requirements.
-Completes appropriate charges for patient visits.
-Serves as a resource person for the nursing staff and delegates as appropriate.
-May supervise the activities of clinical nursing and support staff.
-Provides education in the community as needed.
-Adheres to shared values of USON network and practices.
-Works collaboratively with physician colleagues and other Advanced Practice Providers.

Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program for nursing education and successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program or s uccessful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Minimum of five years post Master's experience in oncology or practice specialty. Experience and knowledge in the management of the physiologic and psychological effects of cancer diagnosis and subsequent treatment. Current state certification and/or licensure. Current CPR certification required. ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred. Maintain DPS and DEA licenses if prescribing. Maintain collaborative practice agreement with sponsoring physician.
