We’re looking for a hungry business development leader with an entrepreneurial mindset. As a Vice President Business Development of Retail Media Network, you will be a sales lead in a fun and fast paced digital media environment. You will play an integral role in driving new business growth for the organization within a highly visible strategic solution, while collaborating with key stakeholders throughout Epsilon and CitrusAd. This is a player/coach role with opportunity to build and expand your own team based on growing business needs. Successful candidates will bring a strong functional skill base, a track record of delivering results, and good interpersonal and organizational skill sets.  This role will report into the SVP Business Development.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive new business development of Retail Media Network enterprise selling activities across the U.S retail and grocery verticals.  Opportunity does exist to expand into other verticals
  • Strong focus on driving adoption of the Epsilon/CitrusAd wholistic Offsite and Onsite monetization solution
  • Develop relationships across Epsilon, CitrusAd and Publicis, enabling strategic collaboration and accelerated revenue growth
  • Collaborate with the Business Development & Client Development teams client facing meetings as needed
  • Work with Product and Marketing cross-teams to identify, refine, and package new strategies for our Retail Media Network solution that will drive brand interest and revenue
  • Stay current on industry trends and personnel moves among prospect organizations.
  • Participate in relevant business reviews to ensure that we are properly solutioning for top accounts
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team to bring on new Retailers for monetization programs
  • Manage a sales pipeline to ensure forecasting accuracy and delivery of quarterly goals

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of demonstrated consultative and solution-oriented Sales & Business Development Experience; strong negotiation and closing skills
  • 6+ years consultative selling experience in Retail Media Network, Brand Marketing and/or Shopper Marketing
  • 5+ years Leadership experience preferred
  • Experience in Digital Media, Marketing, or Promotions/Advertising focusing on CPG or Retail
  • Self-motivated, senior-level leader/hunter that enjoys prospecting and needs-based selling
  • Strong business and strategic planning acumen
  • Solid quantitative background with an understanding of analytic tools and techniques
  • Understanding of marketing program design, execution, and measurement
  • Effective communication across multiple levels of an organization with ability to make compelling presentations to an audience of diverse business stakeholders
  • Works well in a team/highly collaborative environment
  • Proven ability to negotiate and close deals
  • Must be strategic, flexible, tenacious, results-oriented
  • Ability to remain focused and flexible during rapid change.
  • Strong Computer Skills: Microsoft Office and Sales Management software (ie. Salesforce.com)
  • BA/BS with strong academic record, preferred
