SHIFT: Days (rotating weekends)
SCHEDULE: Full-time

HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is a four-story, 150,000 square foot hospital with 70 private beds and a six-bed private ICU. We provide a full range of acute care services including emergency services, inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging, inpatient and outpatient surgery, cardiac catheterization, laboratory, pharmacy, and a full range of support services.

Our ED is approximately 14,500 square feet and consists of 22 private treatment rooms, an EMS entrance and a helicopter pad. 

Under general supervision, the RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) will perform all respiratory care related duties.

Set up and administer all routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages.

Responsible for the application and operation of acute care ventilators used for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation.

Respiratory Therapists are expected to be self-directed in the absence of the full-time Team Leader. Maintain all department and hospital records and enter accurate information into the hospital computer for the therapy as given.

Qualifications

Current Florida state license

Current BLS (Basic Life Support)
