What You’ll Be Trusted To Do

• Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for infants through school-aged children

• Confidently step into new family environments with warmth and professionalism

• Lead engaging play, creative activities, and structured routines

• Supervise meals, naps, and transitions with care and intention

• Maintain a calm, safe, and nurturing atmosphere

• Communicate clearly with parents and Philia’s team

• You are not “just filling in.”

• You are bringing stability to a family’s day.

Who Thrives in This Role

You have at least 3 years of professional childcare experience
You are adaptable and comfortable with short-notice assignments
You are warm, composed, and naturally confident
You take pride in professionalism and presentation
You are CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
You can pass a comprehensive background screening
You have reliable transportation within Washington, DC
