General Position Summary/Purpose:
Responsible for storage and organization of data, and ensuring databases operate efficiently and without error.
Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as part of a team responsible for enterprise-wide data platforms, support data audits, troubleshoot\respond to reported issues, and review system performance to proactively identify issues and work with business users to resolve reported problems.
- Work may also include ensuring compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
- As needed will make required design and architecture changes.
- Will implement projects to meet business needs in EDW and other areas and develop simple to complex ETL mappings.
- Will also create technical documentation, including technical specification documents, technical design documents, data flow diagrams, process diagrams and process illustrations.
- Will coordinate with cross functional teams to conduct testing, review and seek feedback and document all preliminary findings for review by data architect; write efficient queries and packages, procedures and functions; and perform other duties as required.
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 1 year in position offered or in a position involving EDW
- Design and develop Informatica mappings to load and manage data
- Perform data analysis and processes to validate data
- Create specification documents to capture data architecture
- IDQ, IDD, Informatica Metadata Manager and ETL
- Hadoop, Hive, HBase, Impala, Python and JSON
- SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL
- Analyze big data using No SQL technologies
- Unix scripting
- Automatic Enterprise scheduler
- MS Visio
