Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities Are:
- Interface with personnel from a variety of disciplines to ensure successful integration of software fixes and updates
- Perform software testing, customer support analysis and troubleshooting, and operations procedures development
- Author technical policies, procedures, and documentation
- Develop and use consistent processes and approved test plans
- Independently organize working groups to develop scenario testing, procedures, documentation, and operator training
- Develop and document test plans for newly developed or existing software or hardware
- Author and provide detailed test reports that address the objectives stated in the testing goals and approved test plan with the resulting data
- Provide on-the-job training to operations and maintenance personnel as required
- Research, evaluate and recommend hardware technologies that allow the organization to achieve its technologies goals or improve efficiency
- Develop reports, lead briefings, and other management materials to support Executive briefings and decision making
- Lead and/or manage miscellaneous tasks and projects as requested
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in engineering or other related sciences discipline
(2-5) years of relative engineering testing experience
Knowledgeable of systems engineering processes for the development of test requirements and assessment/verification requirements
Possess strong quantitative analysis and decision-making skills with an eye for detail
Ability to obtain and keep a Secret Security Clearance
Desired Qualifications
Masters degree in engineering or other related sciences discipline
(5+) years of relative engineering experience
Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively with peers
PE certification
Knowledge of network technologies, switches, performance, and firewall security
Familiarity with configuration management practices
