Responsibilities
Peraton is looking for a Sr. CANES Production Engineer to join our team in our San Diego, CA office. The ideal candidate shall support National Security and US Navy operations through supply and modernization of the Navy's afloat network. This postion works as the lead technical director providing objective technical advice, expertise and specialized skills in, but not limited to, supporting the Navy's CANES afloat Network environment. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Key Responsibilities Are:
- Work with the program manager as the lead engineer providing technical direction, reviewing implementation of solutions, driving effectiveness, efficiency and security in production, and assisting the leadership of the large scale enterprise.
- Focus on architecture, solutions, client interface, and effectiveness
- Provide insight to the administrative leaders while working hand's on for engineering direction and implementation
- Some supervisory responsibilities over technical staff, significant program leadership.
Qualifications
- Requires 10 to 12 years of work in systems integration and/or systems production for Defense C4I or IT enterprise systems.
- Specific systems production engineering for the US Navy's CANES or ADNS programs.
- BS in Engineering from an ABET accredited university. Additional 4 years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Must have an active Secret clearance adjudication
