Position Overview
The Work Prep Associate is responsible for picking and prepping parts for production in a clean room.
Job Responsibilities
Cut tubing according to length needed for work order (able to perform length conversions with help from a conversion sheet when needed)
Able to use a hand held scanner (RF Scanner) to scan labels, and other necessary bar codes accurately
Receive material from the Grey Room to prep for production
Cut ports in bags as needed
Pick parts from a Kanban system properly according to work order
Document all check sheets needed for traceability
Print labels needed for the bags going to production
Replenish Kanban parts used
Stage carts of production parts ready for production with proper documentation
Maintain cleanroom to standards established fully
Must follow gowning procedures
Report missing parts from work order
Reports inventory issues to Team Leader
Obtain additional requests for production in a timely and efficient manner
Attend and present in Daily Management Meetings when needed
Keep the work environment in 5S standard
Responsible for the accurate handling of all stock materials
Willing and able to cross-train in other job duties within internal logistics
Minimum Qualifications
HS Diploma or equivalent
Computer skills
Able to be in the required Work Prep Room gowning attire for duration of shift (Full Cleanroom Suit, goggles, mask, cleanroom shoes etc.)
Warehouse/Shipping/Receiving experience, preferred
Knowledge of SAP/DSI, preferred
Travel Internationally if needed
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
