Position Overview

The Boxing Associate is responsible for packing finished material in boxes according to work instructions for shipment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Pack finished product according to work instructions

  • Print appropriate labels to put on box

  • Maintain clean, ergonomic and organized work environment

  • Complete a basic inspection to assess if material meets qualifications (i.e. double bagged, no packaging damage)

  • Stack boxes on pallet to store in warehouse

  • Follow work instructions to meet customers needs

  • Report inventory issues to Team Leader

  • Prep boxes to be ready for irradiation process

  • Use pallet jack to move product in the warehouse

  • Label all materials with accurate information

  • Works according to the predetermined schedule

  • Receive and accurately account for all goods coming from production

  • Ensure that all production parts are received

  • Able to be wear the required Boxing Room attire for duration of shift

  • Attend and/or present in Daily Management Meetings when needed

  • Keep the work environment in 5S standard and keep the Finished Goods warehouse organized with identifiable locations when required

  • Responsible for the correct handling of transport documents

  • Willing and able to cross-train in other job duties within internal logistics

Minimum Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or equivalent

  • Warehouse/Shipping/Receiving experience preferred

  • Must be able to operate a forklift or other similar equipment

  • Knowledge of SAP/DSI, preferred

  • Travel Internationally if needed

Physical Requirement

  • Must be able to lift 35 lbs
