Description

Overview At OpusVi™, we partner with healthcare organizations to build transformative workforce solutions. We have developed a workforce development platform that enables healthcare systems and organizations to upskill and retain top talents. Dedicated to providing the best client experience, we have designed custom online and hybrid programs and workforce development solutions that improve and positively impact talent retention as much as patient health and quality of care. We remain leaders in the healthcare education space by creating scalable, cutting-edge solutions through innovative technologies, clinical expertise, and evidence-based training alongside the industry’s top subject matter experts and academic institutions.  We are looking for a Senior Vice President of Business and Workforce Development who is responsible for leading enterprise-level business development strategy, driving revenue growth, managing key client relationships, and overseeing a high-performing team to deliver integrated workforce development solutions to healthcare partners nationwide. This role directly contributes to OpusVi’s growth through client acquisition, retention, and strategic partnerships with a focus on sustainable scaling. This is a remote position open to candidates based anywhere in the United States. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Operational Planning * Collaborate with the CEO and executive leadership team to translate business strategy into executable operational plans with measurable outcomes. * Lead the development of go-to-market strategies for key product offerings, ensuring alignment with industry trends and customer needs. * Build and manage a high-performing enterprise team across sales, client success, and pre-sales, ensuring appropriate staffing, structure, and performance tracking. * Serve as a hands-on contributor while also coaching and equipping the team with repeatable strategies to identify, cultivate, and convert high-impact opportunities. * Prepare reports and dashboards for shareholders and senior executives to evaluate financial performance, client engagement, and strategic initiatives. Business Development & Revenue Generation * Personally own a book of business with annual targets between $2M–$5M, while enabling broader team revenue impact through coordinated selling of $10M. * Lead and drive solutions for large complex service engagements, with a focus on areas such as transition to practice programs, clinical fellowships and ongoing skills development. * Proactively generate and diversify healthcare partnership opportunities by leading efforts across all lead generation channels—including grants, public-private partnerships, strategic outreach, and government initiatives. * Drive enterprise client success through executive sponsorship, strategic account oversight, and a strong focus on retention and satisfaction. Experience: * Minimum 5–7 years of experience in healthcare enterprise sales, partnerships, or business development. * Demonstrated success managing multi-stakeholder B2B relationships in the healthcare sector (health systems, hospitals, payers, or government). * Experience managing and scaling a sales or business development team. Technical Knowledge or Skills: * Highly proficient with Salesforce, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office. * Strong presentation skills for pitching, reporting, and stakeholder engagement. * Comfortable working in a data-driven environment with CRM and data dashboards. * Demonstrated understanding of marketing, recruiting, outreach, and effective communication techniques. * Demonstrated understanding of laws, compliance, and regulatory frameworks related to higher education enrollment activities. * Excellent knowledge of and contacts within the healthcare sector at a national level. * Excellent strategic planning, critical thinking, analytical, and negotiation skills. * Outstanding oral, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills. * Exceptional ability to present information accurately, clearly, and as intended to individuals and groups. * Ability to lead and manage several projects simultaneously, both domestically and internationally. * Ability to meet strict deadlines and work successfully as a team member. * Professional demeanor, including tact, discretion, and a customer service-oriented approach. * Willingness and ability to travel and work non-traditional hours as required.   Working Conditions The above statements outline the nature and level of work performed by individuals assigned to this position and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities and skills required.
