AsaLead(SDE), you will beanintegralteammember ofanagile development team withinourinnovativeProduct & Technology organization,contributing greatlyto thispivotal transformation in the B2B space.Leverageyour strong knowledge ofdesigning, buildingand maintaininghigh-quality technology solutions that deliver an exceptional customer experience.Worktogetherwiththeproductowner,businessanalysts andyourfellow team memberstotranslateuser stories and functional requirements into resilient & secure technical designs.Then, implementthe designsas production-ready application code using Java and/or Golang.Manage the design and integration of all requiredcloud IaaS & PaaS services including compute, database, messaging, object storage and more.

You are an ideal candidate for this role if you have advanced coding skills in Java and/or Golang, preferably with5-7years of development experience in one of these or similar languages. You’ll alsoneed3+years’ experience with at least one publiccloud platformand2+ yearsmanagingcontainerized applicationswithKubernetesorDocker.

What You’ll Do

  • Translate user stories and functional requirements into resilient & secure technical designs.

  • Design,build&maintain quality tech solutionstodeliveranexceptional customer experience.

  • Ensure application SLAs are met by employing appropriate monitoring and alerting tools as required by each supported application.

  • Guide the development team in overall application technology design activities. Lead the identification and definition of key architectures, components and interfaces, design of data modelsand data/information flows.

  • Work withproductowners todevelop team roadmaps, prioritizefeatures&estimateeffortlevels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science.

  • 5-7years of relevant experience in designing, developing, and deploying large scale systems on multiple platforms.

  • Working knowledgeofSpring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC,Vertx,andGraphQL.

  • Practical expertise with Gitsource code management.

  • Adept with publiccloud IaaS & PaaS serviceslikecompute,database,messaging,objectstorage.

  • Ableto create unit, performance and integration testswithjUnit,jMeter/k6, orPostman/Newman.

  • Experience withKubernetes and/or Dockertomanage containerized applications.

  • Familiarity withNoSQLdatabases such asCouchbase,MongoDB, orElastic.

  • Knowledge ofRDBMSlikeMySQL,PostgreSQL,MS SQL Server, orOracle.

  • Comfortable withHTTP,WebSocket, andgRPC.

  • Basic working knowledge ofLinuxandUnix.

  • API design experiencewithadvanced HTTPandSwagger,producing&consuming service endpoints.

  • Natural problem solver.

  • Ability to mentally model complex systemsand thenbreak down complex problems into smaller, less complex problems.

  • Detail-oriented team playerwith strong communication skills.

  • Knowledge ofTomcat,Netty, Jetty, JBossorNginxisa plus, as well as familiarity with any of the following:shell scripting, Python, Nodejs,Oauth, JWT, EKS, GKE, orAKS.
