Activities Assistant
The Nashville Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a motivated and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our growing team.
Position Summary:
The Activities Assistant supports the planning and implementation of engaging recreational programs designed to enhance the quality of life for our residents. This role requires creativity, organization, and a genuine passion for working with individuals in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate and lead group activities for residents

Encourage participation and accurately document attendance

Maintain cleanliness and organization of activity supplies

Provide one-on-one activities tailored to resident needs

Assist with transporting residents to and from activities

Support outings, special events, and other assigned duties

Complete charting, evaluations, and documentation during shift
Qualifications & Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required
-
Creative, energetic, and self-motivated
-
Experience working with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or special needs populations preferred

Knowledge of computer systems

Flexible schedule; some evenings, weekends, and holidays required
- Certified Dementia Aide training, provided in office
Schedule Options:
-
Full-Time: 5 eight-hour shifts per week
Typical Hours:
-
8:30 AM – 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
